Baptism

Memmbers should contact our parish secretary at least two (2) months in advance of the baptism. Baptismal Classes are held the 2nd Tuesday of May, August, November and February. Parents are required to attend this class before the baptism. Baptisms are scheduled on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month at the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

First Communion

Generally first communion Sunday is held the middle to end of April. Those receiving this sacrament, generally those in second grade, need to have been baptized and a certificate of Baptism must be on record at the religious education office. Also, the first communicant must have made his or her first RECONCILIATION before receiving the holy Eucharist. Parents need to help their children realize the importance of attending mass and receiving communion each week

Confirmation

Students in the 10th grade who are baptized, have made their first communion and first reconciliation and have met various requirements, as per the religious education director, are eligible to be confirmed. Confirmation usually takes place in April at the St. Paul Cathedral, on a date selected by the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Becoming a confirmed catholic elevates the student to adult status in the church.
