NEW REWARDING OPPORTUNITY! MEALS ON WHEELS
Our current chairperson is retiring and St. Ignatius is looking for a new person to chair the Meals on Wheels program. This program brings pre-ordered hot meals to residents in our community. Drivers pick up the meals at the Senior Dining site, in the City Hall and deliver them using a scheduled route. The route takes less than an hour. This is a very rewarding experience. This program ensures that these seniors are provided with a nutritious meal and have someone to check in with them daily. Without this daily contact, many of the seniors would have no other contact for days on end. This is truly very rewarding.
4 local churches take turns delivering these meals. This year St. Ignatius is scheduled to deliver meals for the months of April and September.
We are in need of a volunteer chairperson to schedule these volunteer drivers from St. Ignatius! Your duties would include putting a sign-up poster in the Gathering Space the month before. Volunteers will sign-up in the gathering space, through social media resources, our St. Ignatius web site or the bulletin. You will then send out the schedule for the month to the volunteers. (Postage will be paid by St. Ignatius)
For more information and to volunteer, please call Sandy 320-236-5604.
*An idea would be to have 2 co-chairs and each take a month?
This is an honorable service to our community and it is the wish of this parish to continue this important ministry. Please consider and call soon! May God Bless You.

THE NEED CONTINUES. Our hungry neighbors need our help—they are depending on the help provided by food shelves to make ends meet. The Annandale Area food Shelf provides healthy food options. Your monetary donations are especially appreciated because the food shelf has access to resources where they can purchase more for their dollars! If you prefer to donate food items, choose healthy options, dry beans, rice, whole grains and nuts, as these are essential items for every food shelf. Everyone deserves to be hunger-free, you can help! Food Shelf is available to anyone in need of food,
