Wednesday, January 22nd is a Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.Not sure how to observe this day of prayer and penance? Pick from the ideas below or offer some other prayer or sacrifice that you feel called to do.
• Go to Mass
• Fast or Abstain from meat
• Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet
• Pray a Rosary or a decade of the Rosary
• Give up TV and movies for the day
• Offer A Prayer for Life to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament

St. Ignatius CCW is hosting a World Marriage Day
The celebration is Sunday, February 9
You are all welcome to join us for wedding cake & coffee after the 8:30 and 10:30 Masses in the Gathering Space. A marriage blessing will be given during all 3 Masses.
To make this event even more memorable, please share your wedding memorabilia…a wedding photo or announcement, a wedding dress or suit, a special wedding memory that hides in the bottom of a trunk or even the original article posted in your local newspaper. Paper items should be framed to protect the photo or paper. These items will be displayed on tables the Gathering Space. Drop off your items during the parish office hours from Feb. 3rd– 7th. (Mon & Fri 8-12 and 1-4, Tues 8:30-3:30, Wed & Thurs.
8:30-12). Please pick items up at the end of the event or by Wed. Feb. 12. Thank you for sharing your memories!Tickets Galore! CCW will also be sponsoring a raffle during the month of February. All proceeds for this raffle go toward a Spirit of Mary Scholarship to a high school senior girl from St. Ignatius that plans to further her education in college or a vocational school.
We'll be alongside the table in the Gathering Space that's selling Mardi Gras dinner and raffle tickets. Please bring some extra cash to purchase CCW raffle tickets.

FEBRUARY MEALS ON WHEELS
St. Ignatius will be scheduling Meals on Wheels volunteers for the month of February for Senior Dining! Sign-up by calling Jennifer @ 612-743-9108 or use the link sign-up genius Jennifer on our website. Routes are manageable on your own, but this is also a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend. Thank you for helping us support our homebound with delicious meals!GOLDEN ROSE AWARD With the blessing from Archbishop Hebda, the St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocesan of Catholic Women has established their own Golden Rose Award. It is to recognize and promote the value of young women who make a difference in today's world through their good deeds. We are looking for young women meeting these criteria: aged 14 to 21, an active member of a parish involved in activities who attends Mass regularly, active in school activities, spiritual and reflects the Gospel values in everyday life, shows leadership qualities in school and parish activities. There are two applications available, one to nominating a young woman (Nomination Form) or a young woman can fill out the application themselves (Application Form). The application will be available on the ACCW website accwarchspm.org/golden-rose through January 31st.FUNERAL LUNCHEON CHAIRS NEEDED
Our parish family is committed to assisting and providing comfort by serving a meal for family and friends following the funeral of a loved one. We cannot continue to provide this ministry without leadership in the kitchen. We are looking for volunteers that are willing to call workers, organize the set-up, serving, and clean-up for the luncheons. Meals are catered. If you would like more information, or if you are feeling called to volunteer, please call or email Julie in the parish office.

Join us and enjoy a delicious dinner that includes an appetizer, 2 entrées, salad, bread, and dessert. Two drinks are included, offering a specialty drink, wine and beer. The popular seafood raffle is back along with the 50/50 card game. Spin and Win and Italian Trivia are new additions to this fun filled evening. Tickets are $45 per person and will be available for purchase after all Masses. The Cash Raffle tickets will also be available each weekend, $100 each; only 200 tickets sold and ten cash payouts. Both tickets are also available for purchase at the office. Be sure to purchase your raffle and event tickets early so you don’t miss out!
ANNANDALE FOOD SHELFThe Annandale Area food Shelf could use our help with increased donations. For your convenience, there is a donation cart in the Gathering Space. Please choose healthy, non perishable options. Monetary donations are also appreciated. The food shelf has access to resources where they can purchase more for their dollars. Items the food shelf cannot often get at wholesale prices include: egg noodles, soda crackers, pancake mix/syrup, canned tuna or chicken, cake mixes, ramen noodles, dry potatoes, pork & beans, soups, mac & cheese, granola, cereal, juices, paper towels, toilet paper. Monetary donations can be mailed directly to the Annandale Food Shelf (PO Box 94, Annandale, MN 55302), placed in the collection basket in an envelope labeled “Food Shelf,” or dropped off in the Parish Office.

Many volunteers keep our beautiful parish and liturgies running smoothly. There is an on-going need for additional volunteers in our parish.

We have pre-school through 8th grade programs which you can check out at school.churchofsttimothy.org. We will be having an OPEN HOUSE during our annual Pancake breakfast from 8:30 am to noon on January 26th at the start of Catholic Schools Week. Tours will be available throughout the morning.
On February 6th, we have our Kindergarten/Preschool Open House from 4:30-6:30 which includes our Kindergarten Presentation at 5:30. We also have a Middle School & 5th grade Open House on February 13, 10:00-11:30 am. Families will have the option to join us after attending the 9:00 Mass to shadow Middle School or 5th grade and to meet our principal and teachers. Our 1st-4th grade Open House will be on February 20, 10:00-11:30 am.
