►Please join our parish prayer chain. St. Ignatius prayer warriors are here for you!
We all know how powerful prayer can be and many have experienced healing, peace, guidance and other answers to their needs through prayer. If you are in need of prayers, we will lift our hearts and our voices in prayer with you. Requests can be made using the contact information below.
Prayers for those with long term needs are placed on a special list and prayed for daily. Other requests are prayed according to the desires of those requesting the prayers. You may choose to remain anonymous, God understands!
►Funerals at St. Ignatius
At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun in the waters of baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the church intercedes on behalf of the deceased because of its confident belief that death is not the end nor does it break the bonds forged in life. The church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting word of God and the sacrament of Eucharist.

“Walk With Me” Vocation Prayer
Loving God, we ask you to guide the men and women of this Archdiocese who are considering religious life and those already on their journey towards ordination or final vows. Bless them in their decisions. Strengthen them in their love for you and their desire to serve you in this special way. Hold them close to your heart, especially during difficult or troubled times. Shower them with your love and fill them with courage and joy as they study and prepare themselves for your work. We pray for all on their journey to religious life. May they feel our loving and prayerful support. We ask this in the name of Jesus, your Son.
Amen.
►Prayer to End Abortion
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life, and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters. I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion, yet I rejoice that You have conquered death by the Resurrection of Your Son. I am ready to do my part in ending abortion. Today I commit myself NEVER to be silent, NEVER to be passive, NEVER to be forgetful of the unborn. I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement, and never to stop defending life until all my brothers and sisters are protected, and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all, through Christ our Lord. Amen!
Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is displayed in a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship Jesus continually throughout the day and through the night. Christ’s great love for us was shown when he was crucified on the cross to pay for our sins and give us eternal life. He loves us without limits, and offers Himself to us in the Holy sacrament of the Eucharist. In return, we give Jesus a few minutes of love and adoration in return.
Feel welcome to stop at St. Ignatius and pray in our Chapel. The entrance to the Chapel can
be accessed through the Parish Office door during office hours:
Monday– Friday
8:00am –12:00 pm and 1:00 pm– 4:00 pm
As a reminder we do have scheduled Eucharistic Adoration the last Thursday of the
month, held in the Church Sanctuary.
Scripture Study
Enjoy meeting new friends while expanding your knowledge of God’s word in our Catholic faith. It's intriguing to hear others express how a deeper understanding of Personal study and small group discussions link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Roman Catholic Church.
Divine Mercy uses the rosary as a chaplet for the salvation of souls all over the world. There is a Divine Mercy Sunday, following Easter. The devotion starts on Good Friday and continues for nine days. The chaplet can be said at anytime, however, the 3 p.m. time, when Jesus Died, is a special time to say "Jesus I trust in you" three times.
How to recite the Chaplet
*Alcove located NW corner of church, near nursery room.
